Can you believe we are halfway through September? With your help, there is still time to pass the donation goal for the Placer Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (Placer SPCA), our charity of the month.
The mission of the Placer SPCA:
Did you know the Placer SPCA was founded in 1973? Since then, the Placer SPCA has played an active role in our local community, both serving the animals and the people of our community. As a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization, the Placer SPCA is funded by donations, grants, bequests, and fees for service. The shelter houses over 4,000 animals each year. Now, along with helping unite pets with the perfect family for them, they also offer kennel enrichment and socialization strategies, behavior modification counseling and training, foster care and mobile adoption. Additionally, other services include adoption counseling, spay/neuter assistance and education, pet lost and found, humane education, collaborative rescue efforts, and volunteer opportunities.
How You Can Help Us Donate to the Sacramento SPCA
Every time you visit Performance Physical Therapy and check-in to our clinic on Facebook with the hashtag #PLACERSPCA, we will donate 25 cents to the Placer SPCA. The minimum amount we will donate to the Placer SPCA for the month of September is $100, but with your help, we can pass this goal!
How To Check-In on Facebook
- First, scroll to the top of your News Feed or Profile and click ‘What’s on your mind’?
- Then, click ‘Check-in’.
- Make sure the status is ‘Public’ and not ‘Friends Only’
- Next, select the location: Performance Physical Therapy HQ and look for the clinic you’re at
- Include the hashtag #PLACERSPCA
- Lastly, hit ‘Share’.
- Continue doing this all month, we will donate every time you check in!
