Feature Friday with Abby Rohleder- Taking on New Roles including Best Future Aunt Ever!

A fearless self-starter, Abby has jumped into her new role as Patient Service Coordinator with ease and confidence! Abby joined our Performance Physical Therapy team back in April of this year as a Physical Therapy aide. Since then, she has seamlessly transitioned into becoming a stellar Patient Service Coordinator. Our Clinic Director, Shannon Zalewski, PT, DPT, adds, “Abby is so kind, she will be the first to greet you with her warm smile. She is a stellar PSC and an awesome coworker!”

Outside of Performance PT, you can catch Abby working on her goal of being the BEST future Aunt ever. She’s focusing on learning as much as she can beforehand about caring for babies. She’s never held a baby before so she says this will be an “interesting learning experience.” Aside from preparing for her future niece, Abby’s also been tending to her garden all year long! She says there are a ton of tomatoes growing from her plants and she’ll have to bring some by to the clinic. We can’t wait!

What book did you read last?

Prior to answering these questions, I had just closed a medical terminology textbook. I can’t remember the last time I read a book for fun and actually finished it. I’m notorious for not finishing books and movies/tv shows. Oops!

What is your goal for the 2018 year?

I’m going to be an aunt for the first time near the end of the year, so my main goal is to learn as much about caring for babies as possible beforehand. I want to be the best aunt! I have never even held a baby before, so it should be an interesting learning experience.
